Located in Royal Oak, MI, this zoo is only a 20-30 minute drive. Currently, July’s featured animal is the Gray Wolf, where you can check out this exhibit. Waterford Oaks Waterpark in Waterford, MI

Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Charter, MI
Less than an hour away, located in the Harrison Charter Township, the Lake St. Clair Metropark features 7 miles of shoreline, 1600 ft of boardwalk along the lake, nature trails, and wetlands.
